As of January 1, 2025, Chiquita Canyon Landfill is closed for the acceptance of waste. Chiquita Canyon, LLC will continue to manage the landfill, including addressing the elevated temperature landfill event that is affecting the northwest corner of the landfill, as well as closure and post-closure activities. While active waste disposal operations have closed, we remain committed to working with federal, state and local regulators on the ongoing reaction mitigation efforts.

ALERT NOTICE: From August 14^th through August 28^th, we will be performing annual maintenance on air monitors MS-01 through MS-12. Due to the maintenance, one station, per day, will be offline during this period. Only one monitor will be taken offline for maintenance at a time. We apologize for any inconvenience.
