As of January 1, 2025, Chiquita Canyon Landfill is closed for the acceptance of waste. Chiquita Canyon, LLC will continue to manage the landfill, including addressing the elevated temperature landfill event that is affecting the northwest corner of the landfill, as well as closure and post-closure activities. While active waste disposal operations have closed, we remain committed to working with federal, state and local regulators on the ongoing reaction mitigation efforts.
ALERT NOTICE: The VOC monitor at MS-01 and MS-02 will be offline from July 16 to 18 due to required annual maintenance. We apologize for any inconvenience.
