In 2020, Waste Connections introduced fifteen-year aspirational sustainability targets, including generating additional offsets to emissions, increasing resource recovery and on-site leachate management, and continuing improvement to their safety record, voluntary turnover and Servant Leadership scores.
Waste Connections also recognizes that employees identify and lead many of the sustainability efforts at a local level, including Chiquita Canyon. As a result, the safety, welfare and development of our employees is critical.
