On Friday, June 19, 2026, Chiquita experienced unplanned downtime of Flares 1, 2, and 3, the Hero TOx, and the Zeeco TOx at 2:49 am due to a sitewide power shutdown. Field technicians responded to restart each flare and TOx, and as of 5:59 am, all units except Flare 3 had resumed operation. Individual downtime durations ranged from approximately 1 hour and 2 minutes to 3 hours and 10 minutes. Flare 3 was not restarted because planned maintenance was already scheduled and is expected to resume operation on June 19, 2026, at approximately 9:00 a.m. Due to this downtime, there was a possibility of increased odors in the community during the indicated time period.
