Jasper Fire Final Update
After what appeared to be a controlled burn at the Del Valle Regional Training Center, the fire jumped Chiquito Canyon Road and ran up the hill towards CCL. The Fire Department acted quickly, and with help from air support, they put out the fire after just a small spot fire reach the boundary of the CCL property. No flames reached the landfill itself but there were issues with the power lines and we will continue to assess and repair what is needed. The landfill’s gas and liquid systems, along with the cover liner, are in tack and no damage.
