As of January 1, 2025, Chiquita Canyon Landfill is closed for the acceptance of waste. Chiquita Canyon, LLC will continue to manage the landfill, including addressing the elevated temperature landfill event that is affecting the northwest corner of the landfill, as well as closure and post-closure activities. While active waste disposal operations have closed, we remain committed to working with federal, state and local regulators on the ongoing reaction mitigation efforts.

ALERT NOTICE: The MicroGC air data is currently unavailable at all stations due to unplanned downtime of the cloud data service. The stations are still functional and data will be recorded and uploaded as soon as possible. During this time, measurements of benzene and other Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) will not be available. We apologize for any inconvenience.
