CHIQUITA CANYON CONTINUES RECYCLING AND EDUCATION PROGRAM IN 2019
Chiquita Canyon is continuing outreach efforts to educate Santa Clarita Valley residents of their recycling program.
Castaic, Calif. (January 7, 2019) – Chiquita Canyon Landfill continues their public awareness and education recycling program to inform residents what items they may discard at Chiquita Canyon Landfill to be recycled. Chiquita Canyon currently will receive electronic waste, household hazardous waste, white goods, and metal.
“We are very pleased to continue our recycling program for residents of our Valley,” stated Steve Cassulo, District Manager for Chiquita Canyon. “As always, we want to show Santa Clarita that we are a good neighbor and allowing residents of our Valley to recycle their items shows just that.”
Chiquita Canyon has been working with the County of Los Angeles to help make not just the County, but the Santa Clarita Valley a more sustainable, cleaner, and healthier Valley. Chiquita Canyon has been advertising in the local paper as well as with social media posts on their outlets, informing residents of the recycling program.
