CHIQUITA CANYON CONTINUES EDUCATION ON DIFFERENT RECYCLING OPPORTUNITIES OFFERED AT THEIR FACILITY
Chiquita Canyon is continuing outreach efforts to educate the residents of the Santa Clarita Valley on what they offer the public for recycling needs.
Castaic, Calif. (September 5, 2018) – Since the launch of Chiquita Canyon’s efforts to assist residents of the Santa Clarita Valley with recycling, the facility has continued with social media posts and other outreach methods to inform the public about recycling opportunities. Chiquita Canyon accepts mattresses, electronic waste, household hazardous waste, white goods, and metal.
Chiquita Canyon has been implementing a comprehensive public awareness and education program informing Santa Clarita Valley residents of the facility’s recycling activities and programs. Information has been posted in the local paper as well as social media with more details. The program informs residents on what items they may discard at the facility.
Chiquita Canyon has been working with the County of Los Angeles to help make not just the County, but the Santa Clarita Valley a more sustainable, cleaner, and healthier Valley. Residents can check out Chiquita Canyon’s website for more information on the recycle program.
